How do I determine which website management support plan is right for me?
It depends on various factors including the size of your business and website, whether you need 24/7 eCommerce functionality or if it’s just a basic business website. If you’re not sure what support plan is right for you, please get in touch and we’ll help guide you in the right direction.
Do you offer emergency support or after-hours assistance?
We do, but you need to be on our additional out-of-hours support plan with out-of-hours support being chargeable by the hour.
How do I contact you for website support?
We will give you an email address which will create a ticket in our system that will notify our team that you need website support.
What can I ask for help with?
We can cover most website issues for you including reverting to previous backups if you’ve made a mistake, and installing and testing plugins.
What content management systems do you support?
At this time, we only provide web support, management and maintenance on WordPress websites as we’ve spent years getting to know WordPress inside and out so we’re confident in our ability to fix most issues quickly.
What is the turnaround time after a website support request?
We always aim to fix all issues within three working days of receiving your support ticket.
How often do you perform backups and updates?
This depends on the support plan you’re on. Generally, regular backups are performed automatically every 24 hours with the occasional full backup taken depending on your plan.
Is website security included in your support plans?
Yes, but security updates depend on your plan.
​​Can you assist with website migration or transferring to a different hosting provider?
Yes, we can. Please contact us for individual pricing.
Can you accommodate custom or additional services outside the standard support plan offerings?

I've been in and around tech for nearly 20 years. I teach it, I fix it and I enjoy it. However, on a recent journey abroad, my WordPress site developed a serious problem that I was unable to fix. It was one of those times when you need to call in someone trustworthy and competent to get things back to normal – and as quickly as possible!After a lot of searching, step forward, Website Design Ltd. Within an hour of making contact, Matt, and then Matthew, were on my case. Not only did they provide a lightning-fast diagnostic of what the problem was, they pointed me in the direction of a really cost-effective solution that would also save me a lot of money going forward. The resolution and repair required some serious work 'under the bonnet' that needed expertise that I didn't have – and clearly Website Design Ltd did! It didn't cost the earth to get everything sorted, as their prices are very reasonable. I especially liked that they worked 'out of hours' for me to meet some personal deadlines at my end. Fantastic!Having taught 'communication skills' to a few (hundred) organisations 'in my previous life', these guys ticked all the boxes - polite, professional, regular, timely and in a language I could understand. As a result, I always knew 1. What they'd done; 2. how they were progressing, and 3. what was happening next.I'm getting to an age now where excellent customer service for me is more of an exception, than a rule! We needed a new and characterful website for our shop, Red Lion Books in Colchester town centre and Website Design gave us just what we wanted.
